Overview

The ADF P700 is a high power medium voltage energy conditioner for heavy industrial loads. It is ideal for dynamic reactive compensation, flicker mitigation, and harmonic suppression in applications such as electric arc furnaces (EAFs), hoists and windfarms.

ADF P700 system are highly modular and designed with maintainability and availability in focus.They are available with 2 MVA or 4 MVA compensation power. Several units can be operated in parallel to achieve higher power levels. The 4MVA system can be configured as back-to-back converter for effective isolation of two electrical networks in sensitive applications such as semiconductor fabrication and in wind power installations to maintain stable power flow and line voltage.

The ADF P700 is a self contained complete building with the external form factor of a 20 foot (2MVA) or 40 foot (4MVA) container.It is climate controlled and thermally insulated and thus capable of harsh wheather conditions. The container shape of the system makes it well suited for transport to remote sites by ship, railway, truck as well as by air freight.

The modularity, ruggedness, fast response and up time makes the ADF P700 an ideal choice for compensation of demanding applications such as harbour cranes, mills, electric arc furnaces (EAFs), railway traction systems and as temporary mobile voltage restoring solution.
